RF proudly sponsored the 2021 Optimist National Championship hosted by the Royal Nassau Sailing Club in conjunction with the Bahamas National Sailing School. The sailors ranged in age from 8-15 years old and included participants from The Bahamas, US, Cayman and the Turks and Caicos. The event was attended by sailors from 6 Bahamas Islands, including Abaco, Exuma, Eleuthera, Harbour Island Grand Bahama and New Providence. RF presented the ‘Top Female Sailor’ award to Katlia Sherman from the California Yacht Club.
“RF is honored to support the Optimist National Championships and all our young sailors,” stated Rachael Allahar, Head of Group Marketing at RF Bank & Trust. “Youth sailing promotes sportsmanship, independence, and safety at sea.
