(Nassau, Bahamas) RF Bank and Trust, the premier investment bank in the Bahamas, demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the HR (Human Resources) industry at the Bahamas Society for Human Resource Management (BSHRM) Conference and Expo 2023. As the title sponsor for this prestigious event, RF Bank and Trust played a pivotal role in enabling HR professionals to "Activate" their potential, fostering innovation, and strengthening connections within the HR community.

RF Bank and Trust, renowned for its excellence and dedication to the Bahamas, sees the importance of empowering HR professionals to be the drivers of financial wellness within their organizations. The BSHRM Conference and Expo provided a platform for the bank to share its expertise, resources, and innovative solutions to contribute to the success of financial literacy programs launched by employers.

RF Bank and Trust also led a much-anticipated segment at the 2-day BSHRM Conference and Expo 2023 in the form of an engaging panel discussion that outlined actionable steps HR professionals can start using immediately to "Activate" their potential and drive innovation in the industry. Leveraging their extensive experience in the financial sector, the premier investment bank in the Bahamas offered invaluable thought leadership, shedding light on how solutions including competitive pensions, comprehensive financial literacy programs and employee share offerings can enhance the employee benefit package and drive employee retention strategies in a time of immense disruption and employee dissatisfaction.

The panel discussion featured four local leaders in the Human Resource field including Nikia Forbes, Sysco Bahamas HR Director, Shervanna Deleveaux, RF Bank & Trust AVP of HR, Darron Turnquest, BTC Director of People and moderator Lashanta Smith, BSHRM President-elect and Lyford Cay Club Director of HR. The panel, which was centered on championing employee benefits, highlighted the evolution of employee sentiments since the onset of the pandemic. Shervanna Deleveaux, AVP of HR at RF, expressed their enthusiasm about the segment, saying, "As HR professionals we have seen the focus shift to wellness from an employee standpoint. They are prioritizing self-care, well-being, and financial security above other benefits. Finding the benefits that tap into this sense of wellness is the key to any successful talent acquisition strategy. Refocusing spending and energy in the areas that employees value, such as being able to retire on time or early, building wealth and having ownership in the organizations where they work, are just some of the solutions we were able to discuss today."

RF was proud to support BSHRM in another successful conference and commends the society for providing an event with much appreciated learning opportunities for human resource professionals.
