NASSAU, The Bahamas – In its latest push to support positive health outcomes across The Bahamas, RF Bank & Trust (RF) has made a charitable donation toward therapeutic art programming at the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre (SRC). The gift, which forms part of the leading investment bank’s regional impact campaign, comes on the heels of SRC’s annual Art Auction and Sale – a key fundraiser designed to drive community engagement and destigmatise mental health.

Senior Assistant Hospital Administrator Lolita Colebrooke expressed her gratitude on behalf of Ms. Leotha Coleby, Hospital Administrator, and the Executive Management Committee of SRC for RF’s generous donation.

“RF’s partnership is greatly appreciated,” said Ms. Colebrooke. “The art therapy programme is a key component of occupational therapy at SRC, offering rehabilitative benefits by supporting emotional expression, skill building, and recovery for our psychiatric, geriatric, child, and adolescent patients.”

She also shared details of the SRC’s upcoming Art Auction and Sale, to be held on-site at the Serenity Gardens on Thursday 16 April 2026 at 6pm.

“This year’s theme, ‘Fostering Connections Through Art’, reflects our belief that events like the auction play an important role in fostering community support and helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health,” she added.

Affirming RF’s commitment to community investment, Regional Communications Supervisor Ethan Knowles noted:

“RF is proud to stand with the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre in support of community health. As we continue to back life-enhancing initiatives throughout The Bahamas, we remain deeply grateful to the staff at SRC, and medical practitioners more broadly, for the work they do in building a healthy Bahamas.”
