Richard Maparura
Chief Executive Officer & Group Head of Int'l Asset Management
Richard Maparura, CFA, CA, is the Chief Executive Officer of RF Bank & Trust (Cayman) Limited, subject to approval by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). With over 15 years of global financial services experience, Richard most recently served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Butterfield Group, where he led multi-asset investment strategies for institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Richard holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Chartered Accountant, with a background that spans asset management, trading, and auditing. His extensive international experience in banking and audit, combined with deep exposure to global financial markets, reflects RF’s commitment to strong, well-rounded leadership as the firm continues to expand its footprint and capabilities.
In addition to his new role as CEO, Richard will also serve as Group Head of International Asset Management and Banking. In this capacity, he will lead the development and expansion of the RF Group’s international asset management and retail banking services, with a focus on enhancing foreign exchange offerings and other financial solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of clients.
