NASSAU, The Bahamas – For a second consecutive year, RF Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Limited (RF) has partnered with the Black Marlins Swim Club to back Bahamian swimming talent, in what represents the regional bank’s latest community impact effort in support of youth sports. Through its bronze sponsorship of the upcoming 5th Annual Black Marlins Swim Club Meet, scheduled for May 22–23, 2026, RF doubles down on its commitment to uplifting young athletes and positively impacting the communities it serves.

“Community is paramount for us at RF,” said Assistant Vice President of Business Development & Private Wealth Tiffany Gibson. “You can invest in securities, and you can invest in communities; at RF, we do both.”

Over 300 swimmers from across The Bahamas and the broader Caribbean will convene at the Betty Kelly Swimming Complex for the premier two-day competition, which is made possible through the generosity of sponsors like RF.

“On behalf of our swimmers, parents, and coaches, we sincerely thank RF Bank & Trust for sponsoring our swim meet,” said Coach Bruney. “Their support helps create valuable opportunities for young athletes to grow, compete, and succeed both in and out of the pool.”

The Black Marlins Swim Club serves approximately 175 swimmers ages 3–19 through its Learn-to-Swim, Stroke Development, and Competitive programs.

Coming on the heels of The Bahamas’ eighth-consecutive CARIFTA Aquatics title in Guadeloupe, the club’s annual meet represents a decisive contest on the Caribbean sporting calendar.

Rather than rest on their laurels, Bahamian swimmers will be keen to perfect their strokes and improve their times next weekend.
